Adventure is now held exclusively on hundreds of

you've completed Leadership Awakening, but haven't yet attended

One Great Way to Recharge Your Passion,
Focus and
Commitment for the New Year

The New Year is upon us and this is a great time to review
our past year and plan for the next. It's also time for each
of us to do a reality check on where our passion and focus
is right now.
If you're like most people, you've had your ups and downs
during the year. Hopefully you've reached into your Empower
U toolbox and continually picked yourself up, dusted
yourself off and hit it again whenever setbacks occur.
Even so, wouldn't it be great if you could give yourself a
big recharge and reconnect with the powerful resource state
you experienced during Awakening?
The good news is that it's not only possible to do this, but
in doing it you can have an amazingly positive impact on
others at the same time.
What am I talking about? Coming on staff at Leadership
Awakening!
This is one of the most powerful ways you can give yourself
a great shot in the arm. No matter where you are in your
process of living it, you will find yourself re-living the
Awakening experience, but at a deeper level because you'll
be seeing it from the 'other side' of the table.
And by the way, coming on staff is a really great way to
fulfill the commitment you made in class to do homework
assignment #2 and make a difference in the world. |

Making a
Difference - Carole Morris, Team 422 |
Yesterday I was
reflecting on the last few months and some of the
challenges that I have been presented with and I am
amazed at how I have been able to walk through them. Up
until now, I would have allowed these challenges to pull
me down and break my spirit. With each challenge, I had
moments of self pity and despair, but short lived as
compared to the past. What made my ability to walk
through these differently than I would have in the past?
The answer is my EU tools.
When I take my EU tools and combine them with faith I
can't loose. Outcomes of these challenges have not
always been what I may have wished them to be, but they
have always been as they should be. Just accepting that
I am powerless over people has given me great power and
freedom. I can not control the choices of others, rather
only my own. I can however be an example of strength and
courage through the attitude I choose. So, these
challenges I have faced, have allowed me to be one step
closer to the person that I want to be. It is through
such experiences and growth that I am given the
opportunity to see my worth and exercise my potential.
The seemingly bad is actually seemingly good. When I
stand up to adversity and proclaim what I want, I get to
live! Oh the possibilities!
I hope that each of you are truly living the dash of
your life and that you are able to see and feel your
potential and live it! |

"Persevere" means to persist in a state of life, in the pursuit
of an end, or especially in an enterprise undertaken in spite of
counter influences, opposition, or discouragement. When you
persevere you steadily pursue any project or course you've begun. You can see the word used in today's
poem by Sherene Cooper in the line, "The sun shall
rise to a new dawn, and we persevere in knowing life goes on" |
