Adventure is now held exclusively on hundreds of

Light Your Candle...
If you're a graduate of Leadership Awakening, you
remember how powerfully your graduation ceremony affected
you. You probably also remember the crowd of well-wishers
who attended and cheered you on.
Hopefully, you've had the opportunity to attend a
graduation ceremony since your own. Those who
do always comment about how it brings them back to their
post-graduation clarity, focus and commitment—how
it re-lights their candle.
In fact, we encourage you to do whatever you can to attend
the next graduation in your area. It'll be a great recharge
for you. On the other hand, many of you don't have the
opportunity to attend graduations. Either you live too far
away or have other obligations that prevent attending.
Because many of our graduates are
in this situation, we're creating a DVD called,
appropriately enough, "Light Your Candle." This DVD,
recorded last year, shows the entire graduation ceremony presented by Scott V. Black, the
Master Trainer and CEO of
Empower U. It captures all the beauty and intensity of the
graduation process live as it happens. Watching this
video is like being in the audience for a graduation. It's
that powerful. We're in final production of the DVD right
now and plan on releasing it by mid-June. This DVD will
offer you the chance to re-light your
candle by attending a powerful and inspiring virtual graduation
ceremony. The beauty of the DVD is that you can attend at a time and place right for you. If you can't
attend a graduation in person, or even if you can and want
to have this powerful reminder available to you whenever you
like, stay tuned for the upcoming announcement when we
release "Light Your Candle." |

Under Construction |

Beginning Saturday, June 3, 2006, Empower U's CEO and Master Trainer,
Scott V. Black will be hosting a one-hour radio show on 1360 Biz Radio in
Dallas and Houston. The show, called "Under Construction with Mr. Black,"
will give a wider audience exposure to some of the principles and concepts
presented in Empower U's Leadership Experience classes.
Don't live in Dallas or Houston? No problem. You can also
hear the show streaming live on the Internet from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm
(Central time), which is 10:00-11:00 Pacific time and 1:00-2:00 Eastern
time. The show will run on Saturdays at these times every week.
If you want to listen to the show on the Internet, use
this link at the time above and select your favorite media program (Windows Media
or iTunes). You'll be connected immediately to the live show.
In addition, shortly after each show airs, you'll have the
ability to listen to the recorded version on the Empower U web site. This
will allow you to listen whenever it's most convenient to you.
Like all of our graduates, we at Empower U are constantly
under construction, doing everything possible to help our graduates live
their mission in life every day. The Under Construction radio show is
another example of this commitment. Take time to listen in and add this to
your list of tools you use to help yourself keep focused on what's really
important to you. |

Making a
Difference - Fr. Israel Gonsalves |
|
Fr. Israel Gonsalves of the Carmelite Friars runs an
orphanage in Mbeya, Tanzania. The orphans are many and
their material needs great. Scott V. Black met Fr.
Gonsalves when they attended their Masters NLP training
together. Scott was very impressed with his kindness and
the joy he radiated to everyone. Because of this, and
our desire to make a difference in the world, Empower U
is choosing to support the orphanage run by Fr.
Gonsalves. We are sending a care package of school
supplies, toiletries and toys for the orphans. These
kids have almost nothing.
Why are we mentioning this to you, our graduates?
Partly because we greatly admire the work Fr. Gonsalves
is doing and want you to know about it. We'd love you to
help make a difference by donating some school supplies:
pencils, rulers, erasers, glue, scissors, colored
pencils, markers, crayons - all these are needed.
We are also asking for donations of small (6 to 8
inches) stuffed animals. These are so comforting to the
children. The reason for smaller ones is to keep the
shipping costs down. We're hoping to send over 100
stuffed animals for these kids. They would be a great
blessing for them.
