What Are You Missing?

The very nature of human awareness causes us to only focus on certain things
at any one time. This is extremely beneficial when it comes to activities that
require intense focus.
At the same time, this ability to focus can also work against us by keeping
us from exploring new ideas, actions and creative ways of thinking. If we
get too stuck in one particular 'groove' or way of doing things, we miss out
on other opportunities.
Sometimes these opportunities are right in front of us, but because we are
only paying attention to the 'usual' things, we miss them. Unless we allow ourselves the opportunity to
look outside of our usual patterns, we'll never find out what we are
missing.
Case in point:
If you haven't yet listened in to "Under Construction with Mr. Black" on
Saturday mornings, you're missing an incredible tool for your own personal
and business growth. But don't take my word for it. Here are comments

Hello, I am a graduate of Empower
U's leadership training series and I wanted to thank you for
providing a forum for my continued personal growth, and that of
others. I listened to Scott V. Black's show, live on Saturday -
internet streaming 10am PST, and it was a powerful reminder of
why I choose to Live My Life Like it Matters. He was as
captivating on the radio as he is in person; teaching and
sharing his insights into Human Nature and our ability to Want
It, Create It and Live It!
I was pleasantly surprised by how
relevant and captivating his commentary is, even for those who
know nothing about Empower U. The format of the show is very
real, and offers a safe way to continue or begin the journey of
understanding ourselves and each other a little better.
I have since referred several of my friends and colleagues to
your radio station to listen to Mr. Black and others. And, I've
downloaded all of his previous shows. This is a great additional
tool for all EU graduates, and people in general who want to
continue learn and live to their true potential. Thanks again
for providing this opportunity to Scott and his team, and this

wisdom in our world, the better we will all live.

I was sent to Empower U by a friend of mine - Someone
who, I believed, didn’t really know me very well…He told

friends see something in us that we cannot see. My

of the qualities and attributes I ALREADY had – I just
wasn’t using them to their complete potential up until
now – My focus, passion, vision, support, belief in
myself, my strength to get me to step out of my box and
most importantly, recognizing my self worth. I am worth
it, my life is worth it, my career is worth it, and the
relationships in my life are also worth it. Give this
