My September 5

Hello Empower U Leadership Team.

Today is a great day to be alive! I just finished a great push through the month of September. I went on a three week, three Leadership Awakening “drive,” which stirred my soul. I spent the first weekend in Dallas with Team 502, then I went to Reynosa, Mexico for Team 507… Team Takata, then I flew out to Sacramento for Team 503… “Set Me Free.” I feel like Mr. Toad… what a wild ride! In 16 days I had the opportunity to touch, and be a part of, 50 people’s lives at an intimate level!

Those of you that have been through our training know that a weekend with Empower U is very similar to two weeks out in the “real world.” So let me tell you… my, oh my… what a looooong month September has been! ;-) I am going into October with a different frame due to the experiences of my life long September.

Taking 50 people through the 1^st half of the Leadership Experience was incredible. What an honor, what a learning lesson, what a joy, what a struggle… what a ride. If one of the barometers for living a life that matters is the saying; “Life is not about how many breathes you take, but how many times your breath gets taken away”…

Empower U Goes International

Now you can attend Leadership Awakening in two new locations.

November 14-16, 2007 we're offering the first ever class in San Antonio, Texas.
Then, January 24-26, 2008, you can attend the first public class in Reynosa, Mexico.

Of course there are still plenty of classes offered in Dallas and Sacramento, so you've got more choices than ever when you think about sending people you care about through class.

In September, Empower U CEO Scott Black was honored to lead Team 507 from Takata Corporation through Leadership Awakening.

Team Takata's motto, "Teamwork and Respect," came out of the powerful team-building experience in this custom training just for the company. But even that motto didn't capture the pure energy and enthusiasm they showed as they 'stepped over the line' during the class.

Fr. Israel runs an orphanage in Mbeya, Tanzania.

Empower U has established a fund for providing much needed school supplies, Christmas toys and other items for the orphans. We also encourage you, our readers, to support this man in his work to help these kids make their lives better and escape the overwhelming difficulties they face.
