Hello Empower U Leadership Team!

There is an exciting wind blowing in the life of Empower U. I want to share this excitement and take you on a journey with Scott V. Black and the Empower U Leadership Team. One of the great things about all of our Leadership classes is they are incredible experiences. There is a reason we call Leadership Awakening Part 1, and Leadership Adventure Part 2, of the “Leadership Experience.”

If you think about it, we take people on a journey over the 2.5 days that allows them to get to an emotionally honest place where they can ask and answer life’s important questions. Who am I… what do I want… if today was my last day on this planet did it matter one bit… where am I now, where am I going, what will it take to get there and how long… am I the father, mother, son, daughter, boss, friend, Christian… that I was put here to be? Those that trust the process and the person that sent them, “lose themselves in the process” and take an incredible emotional journey to become the person that they were put here to be.

For those of you that are committed to that journey, I want to share with you a new road, a new phase, in the journey of Scott V. Black and Empower U. This journey is still on the road called “Under Construction”; however… The winds of change are blowing.

The Renaissance...

If you've read Scott Black's article in this issue, you have a glimpse of things to come. In addition to new company president, Dennis Huff, we're also getting ready to roll out a complete redesign of the Empower U website. This new site is more than just a new appearance, it will also have more resources for our graduates than ever before.

We've also got a newly updated schedule, including open classes in Mexico and two upcoming Leadership Adventure classes in April and May. What's Different About Leadership Awakening?

You can listen to us tell you about the real-life, practical benefits of Leadership Awakening all day long and probably be thinking to yourself, "Sure, what else would they say?" We get so much hype these days that  it's natural to be skeptical.

On the other hand, we have hundreds of unsolicited comments from graduates of the program. So instead of only listening to what we have to say, hear what one of our recent graduates has to say about the class:

The purpose of Challenge Day is to break down stereotypes, assumptions, biases, etc. that we all have based on the way one acts, looks, dresses or speaks. It challenges every participant to look beyond what we see and really see people for who they are... real human beings.

It is an extremely powerful experience and I felt honored to have witnessed some of the amazing changes that some of the students went through.

It never ceases to amaze me that the power of giving someone my undivided attention can truly impact another person on such a deep level. By being 100% present I was able to experience, share, listen to, support, encourage and hold the feelings that were felt by the kids and myself.

 I can't wait to do it again and get my family involved!
