Our graduates keep making a difference in the lives of others in their families and communities.

Gabe and I were both very moved when we recently learned that only 5% of people that live in apartment communities are connected in a local church. Further research showed that PEOPLE that live in apartments don't feel a sense of community with their neighbors; not making connections with other people.

This life isn't all about me - it's about making a difference with the gifts that i've been given.

Well, Gabe and I both have a renewed LOVE for PEOPLE... and this just made us sad. We have found a program called Apartment Life that sponsers "teams" to go and live in the community and plan events to get all of the people that live there connected with each other.

We interviewed, and we are now a team!!! We put our house on the market, sold it, and are waiting to find out which apartment community we are going to go live in and help bring these people together, and to show them that somebody DOES care about them!!! We are so excited.

Some think we're crazy to sell our house to do this... but at the end of the day, Gabe and I agree that if we can make a positive difference in someones life, it's definitely worth it. This life isn't all about me - it's about making a difference with the gifts that i've been given. I'm praising God for this opportunity to be used by Him for HIS AMAZING GLORY!
