Dear Scott,

The purpose of my communication is to thank you and your entire organization for the powerful experience I had in your Leadership Awakening class last month in Reno. I was skeptical of this training and wanted to resist when I found out it was not going to be your typical textbook training class. The experience I had 30 days ago was the most powerful training and life experience I have ever had, and it still burns strong within me.

Some of the basic tools that you and your team introduced me to during your training I am still using! Most training materials from classes I have been to in the past find their way to the dusty corner in my office. The Empower U tools and materials I carry with me on a daily basis. Reconnecting with these materials every day is something I look forward to rather than feeling it is an obligation.

I have redefined words in my vocabulary. I now live my life with passion, focus, enthusiasm and commitment like I have never done before. It is amazing how my children responded to me once I began to truly focus on them and what is important to them in their life. My life has been impacted in a very positive way and I wanted to simply say thank you for the most powerful weekend of my life.

I look forward to your coming to Atlanta for training and assisting you any way I can to be successful in your Atlanta training experiences.

Dear Scott,

Now that I've been back in the "real world" for nearly two weeks, I wanted to take some time out to drop you a note and tell you how much I appreciated the opportunity to be a part of Leadership Awakening's Team #205. I have never experienced anything close to what I experienced at the HBS Ranch in Reno that weekend. I thank each of you for your willingness to invest your lives to help others realize their full potential.

I have attended literally hundreds of seminars and training programs that were intended to develop my leadership skills, most of which have long ago faded from my memory. Your program, however, will be one that I know will be a part of me for the rest of my life.

This weekend helped focus me on what is really important in life, and motivated me to remain committed to those goals no matter what. I also can't say enough about how valuable it has been to me to realize that God fully intended us to live life with passion and emotion; and how much more fun it is when you do!

Erika, you are awesome! I know you will be a huge success in whatever ventures you choose to undertake in the future.

It would be an understatement to say the impact of the Leadership Awakening is profound. The program is the most fulfilling I have ever experienced. It was unlike anything else, training or otherwise, I have ever undergone. It was intense, as you told us up front, but the affect is has is incredible.

I have to say a big Texas THANK YOU for an incredible weekend with my team at Leadership Awakening in San Diego. From the moment I attended Team 114 in August, I knew that HBS Leadership Adventure would be the key to taking our Finance team to the next level at North Texas Coca-Cola.

Being on staff was a unique opportunity to see these outstanding individuals continue their personal growth and visibly grow together as a team. I feel truly fortunate to have shared with my staff the passion, focus and commitment that was built on the mountain this weekend. I now have the selfish pleasure of witnessing the incredible momentum and commitment to one another that will take us to the next level. I'm extremely excited about the things we will accomplish in 2001.

Congratulations on having such a powerful program to offer to everyone! The Leadership Awakening Program is really something beyond my wildest expectations. It is second to none!

As a participant I have never spent such an uncomfortable 48 hours! However, by trusting the process and the person who sponsored me I am very proud to say that I now live my life with Heart, Body and Soul!

As I mentioned to you recently on the phone, often we get caught up in the hectic lives that we all lead. We forget the people we love most and we take a number of things in our life for granted.
