Our graduates keep making a difference in the lives of others in their families and communities.
Michael and I went to downtown St. Louis and fed the homeless. Well, first we went to church to cook the food. Everything was made from scratch and then we went down and served the food to about 100 or so homeless people.
I have always seen myself helping people...some way some how....and UP UNITL NOW... I have not done a lot of that kind of thing.
Most of them, not all, but most were VERY VERY appreciative! It breaks my heart to know they are homeless, but I hope that my smile and spirit and good cooking brought a little bit of happiness to their day. I think it did!
One guy, when I asked him how he was said "I am extraordinary" and I said YES, YOU ARE! It was an incredible experience for me! That is what I have always seen myself doing, helping people...some way some how....and UP UNITL NOW... I have not done a lot of that kind of thing. Boy do I have ideas of other ways I am going to help!!!!!!
