Dear Scott,
It is not my policy to write testimonials. However, my experience at your Leadership Awakening was so profound that I felt compelled to write. With over 20 years of military service (as an Infantry Officer) I have had the opportunity to attend our nation's most rigorous leadership training courses. Your program measures up against these in every respect. This course is a must for leaders of all types and at all levels.
Leadership, as you know, is more than a series of magic words and phrases we apply to specific situations. All to often we look at leadership as a science as opposed to the art it really is. Your program ensures that we understand and embrace the artist that lies deep within us. If we can do that, we will get more out of our relationships, get more out of the people around us and more out of ourselves.
All of my subordinate leaders have attended your program. Their roles are as diverse as budget, sales, community-outreach and sales management. Their spans of control range from a couple of soldiers to thirty senior NCO's. Every single one of my leaders is more focused, committed to their mission and has a better quality of life.
In closing, let me say that leading others is a sacred trust. With this trust comes sacred responsibilities. I am grateful that your program reinforces the responsibility of the leader to the led. I would recommend your program to anyone who wants to be a better leader or citizen. Thank you for the opportunity to be a better leader.
William J. Potter, Lieutenant Colonel, MTARNG, Commanding (RRM)
