Dear Scott,

I am writing you this letter to thank you and your staff for making this the most powerful weekend of my life. I walked into your class on Friday, November 13, 1998 of which was a day all by it's self and took my first step out from graduation on Sunday November 15, 1998 as a new person, with COMMITMENT, PASSION, PURPOSE, FOCUS, VISION and TEAMWORK. I now know that if I WANT IT I need to CREATE IT and LIVE IT.

I have been to many seminars and have walked out with the feeling that I just wasted my time, not this time! On Friday I didn't know what to expect and when it started, I asked myself what I had gotten myself into. You asked me to give 100% over the phone and I told you I would. I found out that I was fooling myself when it came to giving 100% you and your staff showed me the way to give my HEART, BODY and SOUL, and this I thank you for. I have never felt this way about myself or the people that surround me and make-up my life today. I had such a hard time sleeping when I got back because I was afraid I would begin to backslide and I was so excited to get started on the journey.

The feelings that I have inside are so hard to explain but so many people can see and feel the difference and they ask me what I did and I just smile and explain to them HEART, BODY and SOUL. As I say these words everyday and never look back because yesterday is gone. I have a greater respect for my life and everyone that I come into contact with. As I talk to my friends, co-workers and family I ask them one question, if you knew of a class that could change your life would you go and I think you know the answer. I hope to have many friends and family come to your class (Leadership Awakening) so they are no longer cheated from life like I was.

Dear Empower U,

What freedom! What power!

For the first time in my life I am in control of where I am going and completely responsible for what I will achieve. I have direction. I am focused. I am the happiest person I have ever been. It's a wonderful day to be alive!

I am a powerful and beautiful woman. The kicker is that I always have been but there have been these layers, these obstacles, these words in my head saying who I should be, how I should feel, what I should be doing. I was plowing through life with drive toward undefined goals that weren't my own. I lived Pogo's words of "Having lost sight of our objectives, we redoubled our efforts." I lived insanity - knowing that the way I was living my life wasn't working and doing the same thing again and again anyway. Not taking responsibility for my own beliefs, my own actions or my own life.

With the completion of Leadership Adventure, the ideals of Empower U have become my own. I wake up every morning and choose my life. I am in complete control of where I am going and what my purpose is. There is not a person or an obstacle on this planet that will prevent me from reaching any goal I set. I love myself and my life. I love what I am capable of. I love what I am able to give.

I realize that there will be numerous times I will hit head on with challenges that will want to pull me back, back with all the other crabs, but I know what power I have. I know that the only reason I will fall back will be because I chose to fall. I chose to grovel in self-pity and victimization and I chose to let myself become one of the many who aren't willing to take responsibility for their life. I can guarantee that if I make that choice it will be momentary. No longer is there a place in my heart, body or soul for self-destruction like that. I have too much to gain and too much to give to remain a crab at the bottom of some pot.

Every one of us has incredible power within us. Our minds are the strongest, most potent tools in the universe and if we choose to use them there is absolutely nothing we cannot achieve, absolutely nothing. Quit cheating yourself; quit cheating your loved ones. Use what you have inside you, don't ever suffice yourself with good enough...and if you don't know how, let Empower U show you. Take a risk. Live your life.

Dear Scott,

The time is now!!! I flew into Sea-Tac and arrived home at 2:00am Monday morning. I still woke up before my alarm went off and came in to work feeling better than I can ever remember (aside from having almost no voice whatsoever)!

Several people had known that I was going to your workshop but everybody noticed the profound change in me. I spent the first half-hour talking about the experience. I didn't tell them anything about the actual activities, just how it had affected me personally. I could actually see the goose bumps on their arms as I told them about the most powerful training experience of my life. I have never worked so hard or been held so accountable! As I was speaking, I realized how my passion was transferring to them. It excited some and terrified others! Who wants to be held accountable, after all?!

I am so grateful for having been given the opportunity to be with you in Lago Vista and to be reintroduced to the passion that I had as a child. I feel as if I have been rekindled and the efforts that I will put forth in the days and months and years to some will set my life ablaze with passion, commitment, enthusiasm, focus and vision! Thanks again for the amazing weekend. I'm looking forward to talking with you again soon.
