Today's teenagers are facing incredible struggles more than ever before. Gangs are prevalent, low self-esteem is rampant and a sense of identity is sorely lacking. However, amidst these struggles are incredible opportunities. In Teen Leadership Awakening , young adults are guided to discover their own inner strength and power. Through a series of challenging processes your teenager has the opportunity to take a personal inventory of strengths and weaknesses and get in touch with their true potential.

As a result of attending Empower U's Teen Leadership Awakening program students receive the following:

Build better self-confidence and self-esteem
Focus on and create their own individual Mission and the Vision to accomplish it
Develop effective communication that can inspire and motivate others
Find out who they are and what they want
Enhanced decision-making skills and the ability to take action when necessary
The ability to tackle any challenge and stay focused and committed
Speak with power, authority and conviction while gaining agreement

Students begin the weekend as a diverse group of individuals and within 2 1/2 days they become a powerful and focused team, creating relationships that can last a lifetime.

This course is a "hands on" approach to leadership development instead of the theoretical approach. Because leadership development is really personal development, Teen Leadership Awakening will be the most powerful training your teenager will ever experience in their life. They will leave this training re-grouped and with a much greater feeling of self-confidence; with a Passion and Commitment to their own individual mission and to their future. Students live this training for 2 1/2 days, so when they leave, they've already begun practicing these new skills. Teen graduates leave with a greater appreciation and respect for their families.
